TCD

• The TCD series pumps are specifically designed to convey heat transfer fluids up to 320˚C without the need for cooling systems. In the “XT” active cooling version, it is possible to pump diathermic fluids up to a temperature of 365°C.
• The heat coming from the pumped product is effectively dissipated by a special cooling plate placed between the cover lantern and the impeller; furthermore, the particular finned support allows to efficiently dissipate the heat coming from the pump body, so as to allow an adequate operating temperature for the only simple mechanical seal and for the entire support made up of two robust C3 series bearings, in medium viscosity oil bath.
• The pump bodies and impellers are those of the TCH series of the first two sizes.
• The construction materials are spheroidal cast iron or AISI 316 stainless steel. For the latter it is possible to supply a particular construction called “SP”.
• The dimensions and performance are identical to the corresponding models of the TCH series and are therefore unified according to ISO 2858/DIN 24256 standards.
• Flow rates up to 350 m3/h and heads up to 10 bar.

Special Executions
TCD/SP: This special TCD/SP series execution has been designed for pumping edible vegetable oils. Compared to the standard version, an intermediate cover is added behind the mechanical seal, which acts as a spacer, connected to a barrel containing oil compatible with the oil being pumped. This measure prevents air from entering the pump in the event of a mechanical seal failure, irreparably oxidizing the pumped oil, or the bearing oil from entering the pumping circuit or vice versa
